Mode 3 · Smooth Galaxy Growth

  • Galaxy Spread: controls how far the organic cluster can spread in 3D space.
  • Organic Smoothness: increases damping, reduces newborn jump, and prevents the graph from reheating every Conway step.
  • Node Size: scales visible cells. Older cells also grow naturally with age.
  • Depth Effect: makes front cells larger/brighter and back cells dimmer/smaller.
  • Link Strength: controls how strongly living neighbors pull together visually.
  • Repulsion: pushes cells apart so the cluster opens up instead of collapsing.
  • Links: shows or hides neighbor connections. Turning links off improves performance.
